OrganisationEAVI is a European association, established in 2005 in response to an identified need to have a non-profit entity that would promote the interests of EU citizens and media users, and more specifically how citizens should relate to the way media news are conveyed. We are active on the European level of media literacy and work closely with organisations all over Europe.Position

We are looking for a motivated and talented Trainee, who wants to be actively engaged in the management of international projects dealing with Fake News and disinformation, like the European Media Coach Initiative or Get Your Facts Straight.


Main tasks

  • Supporting the management of EAVI’s projects (research, liaison, office admin, attending events, fundraising and more)
  • Assisting the organisation of the yearly international conference in March
  • Assist in developing our communication and social media strategy

Ideally, you should have

  • Bachelor or Master ideally in Social Sciences, Communications, EU affairs or similar areas
  • Positive attitude and keen interest in media literacy, EU and its policies
  • Ability to conduct research and analysis
  • Ability to learn quickly and work within a team
  • Fluent in English
