ERASMUS+ INTERNSHIP: Teaching Assistant Graphic Design

Academia College of Short Cycle Higher Education, located in Maribor, Slovenia is a private institution that offers specialized short-cycle programs in the field of economics, media production, engineering, and computer science. The programs are designed to provide practical skills and knowledge for today's industries. Academia ensures students receive a quality education that directly applies to their chosen fields.

We are currently seeking a candidate to join the Academia team in Maribor, Slovenia as an Erasmus+ intern.

Position Summary:

As an intern, you will coordinate and support the educational team to complete the demands and courses programmed in the teaching project, managing and performing the specific tasks to achieve Academia´s goals.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Assist the team with various design-related projects; including digital, print and packaging.

·         Create graphics content for Academia´s website, social media, ads, etc.

·         Develop a basic understanding of studio photography and post-production editing.

·         Create engaging video content for various purposes such as instructional guides, new designs, promoting product launches, and more.

·         Assistance and guidance of the Media Production students at their coursework.

·         Design, implementation, and supervision of an in-house Media Production project where students would implement their knowledge in practice.

·         Collaborate with internal teams (International Office Department as well as the Global Marketing Department).

Required Skills & Attributes:

·         Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Capture One, Ms Excel, and other digital tools.

·         Undergoing or has undergone a university master’s degree or last year of a bachelor’s degree or Ph.D. student

·         Fluency in English, written and spoken – should be at least B2 level, preferably C1

·         Additional language skills preferable

·         Ability to take own initiative

·         Motivation to ensure students have the best “Academia Experience”.

·         Keen attention to detail.

·         Client-focused.
