Main purpose: The main purpose is to gain experience of working in the Erasmus+ Project, specifically focusing on the administration of our Erasmus+ Project for students.
This Traineeship provides a unique opportunity to learn about how Erasmus+ partnerships work in practice, and the benefits, challenges and administrative processes for both outgoing and incoming students and staff. Main duties: Supporting the Erasmus+ Office Team on various aspects of the administration of the Erasmus+ programme, principally our Incoming/Outgoing Student and Erasmus+ Staff Exchanges
Processing Erasmus+ paperwork for exchange participants; collecting, filing, reporting …etc.
Interacting with international and domestic students and staff on a daily basis by answering emails and phone calls
Assisting in the events organized specifically for incoming and outgoing students
Prepare contents for website and adverts
Provide help to the staff and students regarding: applying for residency permit, admission Qualification, knowledge and skills required:Being selected as an Erasmus Trainee by the sending institution (with – without grant)
English (knowing Turkish would be a plus)
Flexibility to perform a wide range of tasks, including basic administrative work
Good written* and spoken communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively
Computer-literate: competent in the use of Excel, Word, online databases and electronic communications
Good interpersonal skills.
Cultural awareness and sensitivity to deal with international students and staff. Field/s of Study International Relations or any European Studies, Social Sciences program (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree level student) (All departments that may be relevant to the department of the student) Applications for durations between 2 months to 12 months will be accepted.
