Description: 

We offer an opportunity for students of any specialization enrolled in a European University that have a passion for crafts, in particular requirement pottery or embroidery in a stimulating environment working with Migrants (especially women) in Rome.

The traineeship involves:

- Supporting the main trainer in Embroidery Workshops in managing group activities;

- Stimulating and involving migrant women in different social cohesion activities;

- Supporting daily acrtivities of the organization in communication and registration of beneficiaries;

-Providing information about all on-going projects project scopes and objectives, and creating comprehensive project documentation

(English required, Italian, Arabic, Turkish, Bengali is an asset)

 

We are looking for interns passionate about crafts, especially about pottery and ceramics, that can support activities with migrant women, with strong communication skills, patience and friendliness and enthusiastic about supporting less advantaged women find their path in life providing them tools to open small businesses. 

The activities will be in presence mode. Hours for week: between 40h per week (partially in workshops).

 

Periods and duration can be from two months to six months. Activities go from mid  February 2023 to December 2023. Any slot during this time is suitable for the internship.

Starting time can be agreed depending also on your university processing of Erasmus+ Traineeship agreements.

 

The on-boarding and training for the position takes place online.

Additional Information

We accept only students who will apply for an Erasmus+ Traineeship. A note, living costs in Rome are high so take into consideration that beside travel you will need 500-700 euro per month, average accommodation in Rome is around 450-500 euros. Since we cannot provide additional financial support, evaluate your expenses carefully.
