Finance and Credit Control intern

NonStop Recruitment is Europe’s fastest growing and most exciting recruitment consultancy and we’re looking for a dedicated intern to support the credit control function.  We work with many clients across Europe and the responsibility of the credit control function is both to recover outstanding money owed and to improve the order-to-cash processes to receive timely payment of invoices and ensure our accounts receivable is managed effectively. Responsibilities include:• Managing and recovering outstanding  debt from existing clients• Insuring timely payment of invoices by corresponding with clients via email and phone, following up on client requests and facilitating action • Verification of administrative details, obtaining expected payment dates • Assess current payment disputes, help develop action plans and solutions• Assist with credit checks on clients• Assist with client account reconciliations• Assist with financial reports The NonStop credit control function sits within the wider operations team whose mission it is to accurately, reliably and efficiently provide excellent customer service to everyone we support – from external clients to colleagues.  The operations team consists of a diverse range of people coming from the UK, Czech, Italy, Romania and even as far afield as Australia and New Zealand and working in roles covering HR, market research, quality assurance, procurement, finance, IT, marketing. Not only will you get to experience and learn the role of a credit controller but you will be exposed to these other functions, thereby picking up new skills and gaining a good overview of the supporting team behind one of Europe’s most exciting companies!  This role would be well suited to someone with a degree in, or working towards a degree in any finance-related field; someone with a keen eye for detail and who strives to excel. In addition, you would have:• Fluency in English (it’s our business language). This is an unpaid, Prague-based internship available immediately and ideally for a duration of 6 months
