General information
We are seeking an enthusiastic French/Spanish/ German assistant to work with our GCSE and A Levels students as well as with our staff in lessons. Our department has a caring environment and we have a real passion for languages. You will be working with individual students in one to one conversation sessions but also taking part in our languages lessons, working with professional teachers and supporting our student to succeed in their exam. You will share your culture and the unique linguistic features of your country . You will also encourage and facilitate exchanges between students to promote the sharing of language and culture. We also provide opportunities for our assistant to join us on exciting visits and school trips and there are possibilities to work with other departments and with our local primary schools. We provide some strong support to our assistant through the help of a mentor and the aim is to fully support our assistant settling in the UK with help to find accommodation, setting up a bank account or any other administrative tasks that you might need help with. Accommodation is available in our local community and is generally good value. We are happy to discuss the length of the Internship if you wish to stay for more or less time.
