General information
Our vocational school is looking for two foreign language assistants, one in english, one in spanish.
The internship entails :
- A three-month work experience with us at Notre Dame vocational school
- We are flexible and you could join us in late 2021 or early 2022
-The opportunity to have flexible hours although the school day is generally from 8.30 am to 4;30pm
- The opportunity to be working with professional teachers and helping with the language content in the lesson.
- The support of a mentor who can help with guidance and genenral support
- Working with students from from 15 to 18 years old in small groups
- Helping the class teacher with oral and communication skills
- The opportunity to take part in extra-curriculum activities
Although this is an unpaid position, you will be offered incentives such as free lunch at school on school days and financial help with transport.We can also help to find accomodation.
Should you have any projects or research work with your university, you would also be more welcomed to carry out your research in school.
Please note however that this is not a teaching post and you will not be expected obviously to teach large groups of students. Note also that the spanish assistant may be asked to work with younger students.
