PROJECT

PostLab is currently working on a collaborative artificial intelligence (AI) software platform. Its aim is to make readily available the tools developed by Academic researchers, so they can make it out of the lab into the big wide world more easily. Hence the name of the company PostLab. Our desire is to see years of valuable research that usually end up at best in the hands of a few, or at worst sitting on a lab's digital shelf, flourish in the hands of a larger public and finally get to be understood and used like they were intended to in the first place. To delve further into the heart of the matter, we invite you to look into our website : https://www.postlab.fr/

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND INTERNSHIP MISSION

We are a small, early-stage start-up and team, based in the bustling center of the city of Marseille. The city enjoys an insane amount of sunlight and scenic beauty with the sea at its feet, a beautiful spot to explore in all seasons. Our team is a bit like the city, with a blend of multi-cultural, scientific and teaching background with a broad international vision. Currently we are in the process of developing our website and integrating new software.

TASKS: the intern will work closely with the lead developer by:

  1. working on the front-end AI software web interface

  2. working on the API/back-end of the project

  3. selecting, installing and testing the AI software

  4. dockerizing the AI software

  5. integrating the software on the platform

Length period: from 3 months to 12 months.

Applications: ongoing.

Possible start date: October  2020

Full-time (35hrs/week)
