Description:

Overall Purpose

To raise and increase annual income for El Refugio del Burrito, according to annual and strategic targets, in order to support the delivery of the organisation’s key strategic objectives.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

To assist on the implementation of the organisation’s fundraising strategy.
To recruit and maximise income from potential supporters, and to develop, retain and maximise income from current supporters.
Organise fundraising and promotional events.
To research, evaluate and develop new fundraising initiatives.
Investigate grant funding from the government and private funding organizations.
To work with external agencies, consultants and suppliers using project management techniques to deliver the fundraising plan including writing campaign briefs, schedules and monitoring performance.
To produce fundraising materials to increase number and lifetime value of supporters.

This is a non-paid internship. You may rely on the Erasmus Scholarship. However we will offer training, an excellent work environment and lots of natural and animal interactions.

• An understanding of fundraising and communications procedures.

• Experience in working with target and deadlines

• Great motivation and self-initiative.

• Excellent written and verbal skills in both English and Spanish.

• Full, valid driving license (role may require driving to other locations).
