Description:
We have generated a novel preclinical rodent model of Parkinson's disease via overexpression of human alpha-synuclein using Adeno Associated Viral vectors. In the current project the student will learn to perform histopathological assessment of brain tissue for disease relevant proteins. Additional techniques which will be used are microscopy, data analysis, tissue processing. No previous knowledge is required.
We are flexible with the exact starting day. We are looking for a student at the MSc level who likes to work in a team.
