Description:
The hostel is located in the heart of Barcelona with easy access by foot to La Rambla and to both the metro (lines 2 and 3) and buses giving guests very easy access to most of Barcelona’s most popular tourist attractions – the beach! La Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, La Pedrera, Park Güell, Camp Nou and of course Montjuic, the site of the ’92 Olympics.
The intern receive full training and will be encouraged to perform the following tasks related with Tourism Management & Hospitality:
- Customer service and tourist information assistance.
- Check-in and check-out.
- Managing bookings in the hostel PMS.
- Attending to email and telephone enquiries.
- Other administrative tasks associated with tourism management including but not limited to updating of tourist information displayed throughout the hostel.
- Maintenance of common areas.
- Organising activities for guests.
- Assisting in Bar/Breakfast service as required.
