Hosting teachers and educators in training ERASMUS+

Our school ITCG Loperfido-Olivetti in MATERA is looking for an English mother tongue teacher funded by ERASMUS+ programmes (universities or organising bodies) or an English mother tongue assistant to work with our English teachers. This is an opportunity to practise teaching foreign languages and in particular English to students studying this language as their first foreign language. This experience will give our students (aged 14-19) the chance to practise English and enrich their cultural knowledge of a foreign country. The assistant will participate in the day-to-day activities of the school (lessons, excursions, visits, celebrations, etc.) and will be considered a member of the teaching staff.We are looking for an Erasmus+ student interested in an internship at our school. The atmosphere at the workplace is very supportive and friendly.

The tasks you will be expected to perform include

assisting English teachers in their lessons
assisting in the preparation of activities and teaching materials
creating oral interaction activities between students
whatever you would like to share with us and the students.
The duration of the internship is approximately 4 months, preferably starting in November 2023
