Description: 

Stoa42 is committed to promoting contemporary art and engaging with local and emerging artists. As a vital part of the community, the space hosts exhibitions, educational workshops, and outreach activities to foster artistic expression and cultural dialogue.

The intern will assist with the daily operations and support upcoming exhibitions. This role offers the chance to gain valuable experience in gallery management and art administration within a non-profit environment. The intern will help plan and install exhibitions which includes artwork handling and layout arrangements. They will organize and support events like openings and other events. A major support will be to search and prepare applications for fundings, update the website of the gallery and assist at the archiving. 

 

Interns will gain experience working with established and emerging artists, learn about the operations of a non-profit independent art space in Athens and develop skills in exhibition planning and arts administration.
