Job duties and responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on systems support to Spanish Language Institute Staff by responding to our IT-related support issues – namely WordPress backend and frontend support.
• Assist in the rollout of our premiere Online Courses Platform.
• Assist with special ad-hoc projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Strong command presence for WordPress and Microsoft Office.

Desired qualifications:

• Demonstrated outstanding academic achievement in Computer Science/Computer Engineering and/or Information Technology.
• A strong record of team, project and/or people leadership in a work or academic setting.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment; willingness to take initiative to understand our business.
• Strong commitment to excellence and to personal and professional growth.
• An aptitude for problem solving; strong technical and communication skills.
• Must be resourceful, responsible, tenacious, curious, independent, confident and high energy.

Length of Internship: Minimal internship is 3 months, however can be extended up to 12 months depending upon intern’s performance.
