Intern Pricing

We are currently looking for an Intern Pricing to support our Business Intelligence team for 3-6 months.

As part of our Business Intelligence Team, you will support us in developing and optimizing our pricing algorithm in times of sales campaigns & seasonal price reductions. Every day, millions of people all over Europe enjoy shopping at our online shop & enjoy getting inspiration for brand new styles – even better if there’s a nice sale campaign running!

Our goal is to determine the most intelligent price based on various variables and business models. You will enable the company to take data-driven decisions by optimizing our algorithm day by day!

Challenges the team will be working on in the next 12 months:

• Shape strategic pricing decisions together with the management board
• Develop an intelligent pricing algorithm to maximize company revenue and profit
• Integrate a microservice driven infrastructure for predictive solutions into the main company platform

What you will do 

• Act as sparring partner to the Product Lead Pricing on strategic pricing tasks
• Analyze pricing-relevant KPIs – deduce and drive follow-up actions
• Support the product enhancement of the pricing algorithm by investigating business requirements
• Handle a variety of stakeholder with touchpoints to the departments Business Intelligence, Backbone, Procurement, Buying and the management board
• With growing experience, take over responsibilities for own projects to optimize our products
• Work in an agile and international environment 
• Lots of space for your own ideas and creations, flat hierarchies and very short decision making process

Who you are

• Strong and pragmatic personality to work in a fast-moving start-up environment
• Very good analytical skills and distinctive understanding of numbers
• Intrinsic motivation and drive to actively bring additional value to our business activities
• Quick perception and structured working methods
• Proficient with MS Office (especially Excel)
• Good written and spoken English skills

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL and Google Datastudio
• Pricing and/or Data Science Know-how
