About the candidate
We are looking for several interns to develop a hi-fidelity prototype for a pre-investment fintech start-up. Our candidates should have a strong interest in one or more of the following fields:
- Java ( Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Data Flow ), Mobile ( Swift or Kotlin ) and Cloud-Native Architecture ( AWS EKS )
- Big Data ( Elastic, Kibana ), Blockchain ( HyperLedger ) and Machine Learning ( TensorFlow )
- User Experience ( Sketch ) & Visual Design ( Photoshop )
About the opportunity
The solution features a cloud-native reactive streaming platform to a distributed blockchain event store. The data is projected into a blockchain event store, projected into a sophisticated data store and then exposed through a streaming GraphQL API. The solution uses machine learning to recognise patterns and provide insights for customers.
A user experience partner from San Francisco will be helping us produce an initial draft and wireframes. The team will refine those wireframes in high-fidelity visual designs. The experience is built in native mobile technologies, using Swift and Kotlin.
About us
Our company HQ is in The Netherlands. We have a small office in New Zealand. Our professionals are seasoned software engineers and architects, consulting large enterprises and scale ups all over the world. Our customers are in Hong Kong, San Francisco, Mumbai, Sydney and other places. Aside from our consultancy activities, we develop our own propositions in an innovation lab which we market to corporate investors.
What we offer
Although our company is headquartered in The Netherlands, the FinTech, candidates are expected to travel to New Zealand. We offer a financial compensation to Bachelor and Master students, as well as a contribution towards travel expenses and visa application fees. Citizens of the European Union will need to apply for a Working Holiday Visa.
The duration of the internship is 6-12 months. After a succesful completion of an internship, we encourage candidates to apply as a trainnee. We mentor trainnees in our innovation lab, until they are productive members of our team of professionals.
