Would you like to have an internship at an expat housing agency? Are you excited about being part of a small team in an international and entrepreneurial environment? And being fully involved in the day-to-day business functions in our cozy office in Amsterdam?
Zen Home Rentals is looking for interns who are eager to learn about sales, marketing, real estate and just about anything that a rental agency does. Your primary tasks will be to find and identify leads, close rental deals and help us scale our business. Whether you’re pursuing a degree or are looking to make a career change, you will be given the space to achieve your internship goals and to develop new skills.
You are:
- Located in Amsterdam, at least for the duration of this internship
- Available for a 4-6 months internship
- Attracted to small start-up environments
- Fluent English level and strong in communication
- Full of energy, proactive and result oriented
- Flexible and able to work independently

Work environment:
Not a corporate workplace but a friendly entrepreneurial spirit. Our cozy team consists of the founder, business partner, the happiest office dog and our interns that join. Start-up businesses are exceedingly fun, yet taxing to work for. There is an informal and positive work culture with a lot of freedom as well as a lot of responsibilities. We do expect you to be well-spirited, respectful and passionate to fit well with our team.
Please note that we can only offer internships to EU citizens. Non-EU citizens need to be enrolled at a Dutch university to be eligible for this internship.
Unfortunately, the internship is unpaid, however you can choose the duration that suits you best. Also you can choose your own working hours as full-time or part-time (minimum of three days p/w) as long as you strictly follow the program you set for yourself.
