Are you studying, Hospitality, Tourism, or Leisure studies? Are you young, enthusiastic and want to spent quality time during practical training combining work placement with pleasure next to wonderful Italian landscapes, culture and atmosphere?
The practical training / Internship includes hand-on experience working all-round operational levels and hotel tasks in departments such as Restaurant, Hotel, Banqueting, Kitchen and Housekeeping.
The internship is valid for a minimum period from three (3) months depending on individual circumstances for the period from April to November.
The start date and duration of the internship can be adapted to the students’ needs.
Free accomodation to share with other students;
Free meals breakfast / lunch / dinner included (only at the work place)
Working hours: 8 hours per day - 2 day off per week (days off are only during the week and not during weekends)
After this experience the applicant will learn what means working in a small/medium company size in the Hospitality/Tourism Industry by taking care about all tasks and by developing unique and strategic concepts to be “different” from other competitors in an international environment.. Then, the trainee will be improved in terms of timeliness, organization, communication with clients and colleagues, speed and efficiency in serving the customer, ability to perform multiple tasks. In addition to learning a new language and new terms to include in your dictionary. The quantity and type of activities performed by each intern will depend on his/her interests, knowledge, performance, experience and attitude. We try to involve our interns in as many activities as possible and give him/her increased responsibilities according to his/her performance and aptitude.
Requirements:
Language skills: English – Intermediate / Good Level - Italian - the knowledge of italian will be a plus - Knowledge of any other languages are a plus
