Description:
Automated analysis of behaviour using DeepLearning. The student will use DeepLearning to analyse motor deficits in a preclinical rodent model of Parkinson's disease. The tasks carried out by the student will include mainly programming, training and testing a DL network with images/videos we provide. Some novel tests are currently being developed which might be included depending on progress being made. Additionally we will offer to teach several biological techniques such as histological analysis of brain sections (DAB/Fluorescent staining, microscopy, cell counting) and data analysis.
