Internship: Translation agency in Spain

Our small translation agency offers an internship in San Javier, Spain. The internship can start either in the winter or summer semester. 

Our translation agency mainly deals with assignments in the fields of medicine, medical technology, pharmaceuticals, clinical studies, etc., which is why there should be a basic interest in education and training in these subjects. 

Tasks:

- Support with translation project management
- Creation of translation packages, allocation of tasks to translators, updating of translation memories, glossary creation, quality control 
- Translation and correction tasks (in intern's mother tongue)
- Writing texts e.g. for the website / blog posts etc.

Requirements:

- Very good knowledge of written and spoken German
- Knowledge of English and/or Spanish
- Corresponding current or completed studies in linguitics/translation or similar
- Interest in working on medical translations

Preferred:

• Previous knowledge in the medical field
• Previous knowledge of CAT tools
• Other relevant prior knowledge
