Internship - Govsatcom Project Team
Luxembourg - Betzdorf

 

Context 

6-month internship, starting at the earliest convenience

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Govsatcom Project team in a fast-paced, global organization within an innovative and unique industry.

Based in Betzdorf, you will contribute to the Govsatcom project working with the Govsatcom Mission Operations Centre (GMOC) implementation and test phases. The GMOC is the core of the system which controls a platform hub, ground station antennas and VSATs.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Supporting GMOC Infrastructure tests
  • Supporting Antenna Ground Station tests
  • Supporting VSAT Deployments and tests
  • Developing automated test software in VBA (Excel)
  • Developing Graphical User Interfaces for operational use

 

Your profile

  • Being an Master’s student or final year BSc at a University level within technical subjects (RF Engineering) or certificate of apprenticeship within service electronics, Computer Science, Software Development or in a relevant technical area.
  • Genuine interest in the media/telecommunication business and technical interest in satellites.
  • Ability to think practical, work structured, experience with VBA (Excel); - Computer literate (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access).
  • Comfortable in working with minimal supervision as well as in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to communicate easily at all levels.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English with additional languages considered an asset.
  • EU nationality or work permit for Luxembourg.
