Context

Up to 6-month internship, starting as soon as possible

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Management Reporting & Controlling team in a fast-paced, global organization within an innovative and unique industry. Based in Luxembourg or The Hague, you will contribute to day to day Finance activities as well as provide dedicated support to the development of the controlling tools in the company’s ERP system.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support Travel Management Team with implementation project of a new worldwide Travel Management Reporting system and other travel projects (e.g. stakeholder survey)
  • Support ongoing development of Financial Systems (SAP Concur and Reporting systems), with a focus on controlling related activities and processes
  • Support day to day financial control activities involving data analysis

 

Experience / Qualifications

  • Being a Master’s student or final year BSc in Finance/Accounting and IT or certificate of apprenticeship within the aforementioned areas; Lack of University education can be replaced by relevant experience
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and cost management principles
  • Proficient computer literacy, with knowledge of MS Excel & solid ERP knowledge (SAP preferred/ support will be provided)
  • Ability to think practical, work structured, experience with data analysis and database knowledge
  • Interest in the media/telecommunication business and technical interest in satellites
  • Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Attentive to details
  • Drive to follow-through on task until completion
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, with Dutch considered an asset
  • EU nationality or work permit for Luxembourg
