3-4 days per week
Description:

The main goal of our lab is the development of novel therapeutics and pharmacological tools for the understanding of the endocannabinoid system. This system is highly involved in the physiopathology of numerous processes including neurodegeneration, metabolism, cancer and pain.
Depending on the interests of the intern, this position could be either more focused on the synthesis and pharmacological evaluation of novel modulators of the cannabinoid receptors or on the use of computational tools for the design and rationalization of novel compounds through molecular modeling.  Training in all the necessary techniques along with participation in journal clubs and group meetings in a friendly atmosphere can make this intership a very fruitful experience.
