Nike Supply Chain experts ensure that every year 900 million pieces of footwear, apparel and equipment arrive at the right destination on time. That’s no easy task. The complex process involves more than 50 distribution centers, a network of thousands of accounts, and more than 100,000 retail stores around the world. Supply Chain professionals from Laakdal, Belgium, to São Paulo, Brazil, make it happen. POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

Across the Planning and Analytics function, we have several opportunities available in and around Supply Chain and Operations. Depending on your skill set, we will match your experience with one of the positions below:

• Demand Planning;
• Supply and Inventory Planning;
• Retail Business Planning;
• Business Planning;
• Account Planning;
• Digital Retail Planning.

Depending on the position you are linked to, the tasks and responsibilities may include:

 

• Work on projects in the area of advanced forecasting technics (statistics, correlations, analysis, analytics);
• Support in process and reporting (forecast accuracy and other reports);
• Help to increase the data accuracy for planning and reporting purposes;
• Support the Planning team in their re-occurring tasks, such as reporting, data validation and preparation for meetings;
• Deep dive into metrics, benchmarking and KPIs;
• Build, check and update different templates and presentations;
• Initiate, lead and execute own projects;
• Support in ad hoc requests and attend all team meetings;
• Processing, mapping and identifying potential improvements on data integrity;
• Connecting to different teams, such as Finance, Merchandising and Sales is crucial in these positions;
• Improve hard skills and knowledge on various professional analytics, reporting, planning and communication tools (for example, Alteryx, Tableau, R, SAP, advanced Excel, Cognos, SQL, etc);
• Develop soft skills like crossfunctional communication and stakeholder management.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

• 3rd/4th year Bachelor or Master Degree student within Business Administration, Business Analytics, Operation Management, or other related fields;
• Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Advanced Excel and technical skills and strong attention to detail;
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational awareness skills;
• High energy level, strong analytical skills and information seeking attitude;
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Academic, volunteering or previous internship experiences related to Planning and Analytics are a plus (please include in your CV);
• A global mindset and ideally a passion for sport

 

IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AN INTERNSHIP, YOU MUST:

 

• Be a student for the whole duration of the internship (enrolled in a university/higher education institution);
• Have an EU passport or an EU work permit.

 

START DATE:

February 1st, 2020

 

DURATION:

6 or 12 months (12 months availability strongly preferred)

 

This internship is open to students outside of the Netherlands.
