LOT-ART is growing as a dynamic player in the worldwide art investment business and we are now looking for a young professional with a brilliant/creative mind and a genuine interest in the art business to join the LOT-ARTeam as PR & Communication Intern.

Created in Q1 2017, Lot-Art is to date the world’s largest aggregator for fine art and luxury collectables covering the full life cycle of an auction (Upcoming, Sold and Aftersale) and providing direct links to reputable auction houses, art galleries and certified collectors worldwide. Powered by an advanced search algorithm, Its objective is to enhance price transparency and efficiency in the art market enabling art investors to profit on every geographical arbitrage, price gap and information asymmetry arising in the primary and secondary art market.

We are a competitive Startup and you are a promising Master graduate or about to graduate. Mandatory know how on social media management, preferably with previous exposure to the art world, excellent English writing, and power point presentation skills. We are looking to sustainably grow the popularity of Lot-Art as a listing platform for auction houses and art galleries as well as an investment tool for collectors and investors who understand the financial opportunities of art as an asset class. The channels to be leveraged are:

  • Referral articles: building a relationship with bloggers, art / investment magazines and other publishers to write about us.
  • Maintain and develop business relations with auction houses, investors, collectors, partner companies and art galleries.

Be proactive: we are happy to hear ideas, so let us know if you have any. 

Languages: Fluent in English and good command of one among French, German, Russian, Dutch or Italian.

Work will be carried out at the Lot-Art office space in Amsterdam with a minimum requested engagement of 24 hrs/week, making it a perfect opportunity for a thesis business case . The minimum required engagement is 3 months with the possibility of extension. A remuneration will be available to the selected candidates willing to work in Amsterdam. Deadline for submission of CVs is January 20th 2019
