What you will do as a UI/UX design intern?
- Support design projects across the entire product lifecycle. You set the vision for the user experience and create the space for others to collaborate.
- Work with other members of the team to create top-class user experiences on a variety of digital platforms and applications from our clients, that are engaging, useful, and solution-oriented.
- Help with user research, customer feedback, user testing, and usability findings to tailor your designs to the user in order to best solve their problems.
- Develop and prototype design solutions, not only to communicate ideas and concepts but to test with real customers to encourage collaboration and iterative processes.
- Facilitate workshops with project stakeholders.
This might be for you if...
- You get nervous if you’re not sketching concepts, tweaking flows, or polishing the designs that represent the big-thinking work. Your head is in the clouds while your feet are on the ground.
- You already have some experience with the newest design tools (Sketch, Figma, Framer, Invision, etc.) or the older one's (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.) or are eager to learn.
- Ideally, you have some familiarity with front-end engineering and/or working with engineers.
- You're focused on pixel perfection. You sweat the details to ensure that you and the team deliver remarkable products, on time and on budget.
- You’re a great communicator. You have the communication skills to help set up frameworks and brainstorm initial design concepts.
- You have a people-focused design mentality. Whether through hands-on user research or by designing options for an A/B test.
