General information

6 months
  • General office duties including sending enquiries to hotels, restaurants and service providers, Maintaining a customer master file and a price list
  • Translation of various travel documents  including menus
  • Assistance with quotations
  • Updates of company profile on various sites e. g. Tourism Ireland, Failte Ireland, Go Kerry, Tripadvisor
  • Support with the creation of newsletters (Mailchimp)
  • Support with updating of website in wordpress
  • Maintaining a filing system

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills  
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
  • Very good keyboard skills and excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and WordPress
  • Good technical understanding of computer usage
  • Good knowledge of Social Media an advantage (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & LinkedIn)
  • Good time keeping
  • Neat & tidy  
  • Meets goals promptly with regular progress reports
  • Polite/respectful
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • German native speaker highly desirable
  • Students must be affiliated with a College/ an Educational Institution/ the Erasmus Programme/ the Leonardo Da Vinci Programme etc. or this internship is part of their studies
  • Ability to work independently once instructions are provided
  • Ability to work as a team member


  • Internship allowance of €250 per month
  • 1.69 days off per full working month


Remote position  Fluency in German required C2 Level - German Native speaker highly desirable  Minimum Level of C1 in English  Minimum duration 4 months - longer preferred  Flexible start date - Start date possible up to end of September  Interest in Irish History, Culture & Tourism  

Additional Information

Due to the current international situation with Covid-19, this is a remote internship position, therefore regular access to a Windows PC or Laptop is required. Training will be done remotely. As the majority of the internship is through the German language, only fluent German speakers with a C2 level or native speakers please apply. Applicants should preferably be in receipt of an Erasmus Grant or similar. A monthly stipend of €250 will also be paid.
