Description: 

Schip.gent is a startup studio, creating awesome startup concepts, taking them into the world for a test drive and launching the best ones into successful companies.

We are looking for talented students in their final year of studies, interested in an internship in an international environment with a strong interest in technology and the startup world. You will be working with a small team of entrepreneurs and partners in testing and launching businesses. You will learn by doing, directly from our team of serial entrepreneurs. 

We expect that you listen and understand our company. At the same time, we will give you space to be yourself and express your awesome creative self and support our vision. We strongly believe conceptual and creative thinking makes ideas stand out and we give tender love and care for those seeds to grow. 

Your main tasks will be:

  • Support the development of multiple products in the schip.gent portfolio 

  • Create balanced code and walk the line between code quality and efficiency 

  • Test code developed by the team

  • Interpret feature briefs and understand project requirements

  • Contribute to the thinking process of how we approach features

 

Requirements:

 

  • Ability to work on a complex product as a part of the team 

  • Experience or interest in startups and new technologies 

  • Eagerness to learn

  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills

  • Good knowledge of Python and Full stack web development is an asset

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Business Administration degree is an asset
