Junior Java Developer

What you’ll do

• You'll get involved in developing and delivering high-performance backend services
• You’ll help other teams and clients migrate away from obsolete technologies into the world of Cloud Computing using Java 8+ and Spring Boot

What you need to know

Essential

• Demonstrable knowledge and experience in Java
• Experience with designing and implementing REST web services - JAX-RS, Spring REST, Spring Boot
• Experience with JPA, Hibernate, Spring Data
• Candidates need to enjoy the challenge of complicated tasks and be excellent problem solvers
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Ability to work independently or in small teams
• Ability to work in multi-site international teams

Desirable

• Asynchronous programming and/or multithreading
• Experience with NoSQL (Cassandra, Mongo)
• Experience with event driven architectures
• Ability to produce batch/shell scripts for Windows and/or Linux

DURATION:

The duration of the internship can be between 3 and 12 months, depending on the intern's availability.
