Junior Mechanical engineering traineeship

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual from an Engineering discipline to gain hands-on experience in a mechanic, industrial, electric,managment environment.  You will provide engineering support where required to assist in the resolving of problems, improving overall efficiencies and supporting business objectives in an effective manner. This experience will expose you to many areas within Engineering and is the ideal opportunity to develop, both professionally and personally.

Tasks
• Provide technical support, purchasing, QA and Sales
• Update and provide new written procedures
• Investigate product improvements in production – time and motion and customer needs
• Proactively resolve problems, both independently and as part of a team
• Write technical reports
• Provide back-up to other team members where required.

Personal Skills
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook to an intermediate level
• Able to organise and prioritise workloads
• Use initiative to deal with unexpected problems that arise
• Ability to communicate, at all levels, both verbally and in writing 
• Good interpersonal skills
• Work within a team environment
• Work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Attention to detail.
• Spanish is an advantage
