Language Centre International Relations Assistant

We are looking for a Language Centre International Relations Assistant for the Foreign Languages Centre at the University of Ioannina (GREECE).

Interns' duties include:

• the recruitment of new Erasmus+ interns.  The potential intern would  assist  in  the  organisation  and  administration  of student exchange within the Erasmus+ Program for incoming students.
• the communication with stakeholders in promoting foreign languages and cultures
• the administration and implementation of international language teaching programs via e-learning;
• promotion of our Language Centre internationally;
• administrative duties in the Language Centre
• website update; social media update;

STEP 2. You receive a response from us, usually within a few days.

STEP 3. If you get an initial POSITIVE response, we set up a skype interview.

STEP 4. Then, you need to send us your nomination by your University as well as an Erasmus+ Learning Agreement so that we can sign it on our behalf. Do also inform us whether you need a Letter of Acceptance.

STEP 5. Finally, do inform us PROMPTLY whether you have finally secured FUNDING by your institution. Please note that we do NOT offer any additional payment. However, interns are entitled to free lunches (on a daily basis) at the university restaurant.

Please note that our University is CLOSED between 1st-20th August.

Internships TAKE place in our Foreign Languages FROM MID-SEPTEMBER till MID-JULY every year (NOT during summertime. Our Language Lab CLOSED between mid-July & mid-September).
