We provide local Amsterdam food entrepreneurs, professionals, and businesses with a zero emission delivery option. Delivering fresh food fast and clean, FOODLOGICA maintains a commitment to both sustainable growth and working practices, seeking out high quality local food partners and developing working relationships for the long term.

THE POSITION - More than an intern, we're looking for a team member. In your role as a Logistic Management and Operations Intern, you’ll help us managing daily operations and keep the contacts with clients and drivers. You will manage the schedule of the deliveries by solar-powered electric bikes and vans around Amsterdam through our simple software system while meeting amazing people producing amazing food. This job comes with ensuring all cargo is safely transported on schedule, clients are happy and bikes remain in good condition. It’s therefore important that you will acquire knowledge of bikes and Amsterdam. You are student that wants to work in a very dynamic environment as a startup. You pay very big attention to details, you are able to take responsibility and ownership of your professional work and you are a natural problem solver. Some of the tasks you could get involved with:

  • Organise and help plan deliveries
  • Support hub manager and drivers
  • Help with warehouse tasks (box lifting and arranging for delivery drivers)
  • Assisting dispatchers on use of logistics software
  • preparing deliveries and other administrative documents
  • checking vehicles and spaces
  • Assisting with recruitment and driver training
  • Office Administration

QUALIFICATIONS - Studying Business, Management, Engineering, Organizational or Logistic Studies. Self - motivated, polite, positive and especially precise, problem-solver, organized and proactive. - Excellent English writing and communication skills (and preferably also Dutch) - Keen interest in contributing to the generation of a new economy, new urban life and food delivery standards, and increased local resilience; able to work well individually and with teams.
