According to MAGFI Ltd current activities and clients, we are looking for profiles matching the following description.
Intern’s study background:
Bachelor/Master’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) - A preference is given to Natural sciences with a preference for biology and/or organic chemistry.
Internship activities:
We are looking for a person with STEM background interested in the business/consultancy world, with ability or interest to collect, structure and analyse in a critical manner a diverse range of information (structured, semi-structured) such as scientific literature, patents and projects.
Specifically, the intern will support the tutor in: market analysis, industrial insights within relevant biotechnology, bioprocess engineering, agri/food or other related fields, collecting, collating, analysing and presenting insights derived from:
• scientific literature analysis
• patent databases analysis
• funded project databases analysis
• website and online news studies, as well as any other industrial intelligence tools and approaches relevant to achieve the said objectives
Such actions will support MAGFI in delivering to its clients’ competitive information and insights useful for the development of those clients’ technologies and positioning within their respective high-tech markets.

Knowledge and skills
• Searching, understanding and presenting scientific literature;
• Some elements or interest into using EU funded projects and EU patent databases for intelligence purposes;
• Good insights into biology, chemistry and natural sciences in general.
