Malta School and Junior Programme Intern

Atlas Language School Malta is looking for an intern to start in July 2021. The candidate should already be living in Malta (or Europe) with the right to work in Europe. The intern will live in our accommodation (free of charge) and will also receive some monetary compensation each month. This internship is aimed at university students, graduates and jobseekers who are interested in gaining experience in an international environment. You will get an insight into the running of a language school and learn about how we organise and monitor our teaching and learning provision. 

The main duties will be:

• Liase with Junior Programme group leaders

• Be a point of contact for young students

• Co ordinate and lead students in evening activities 

• Help with check in and check out of the students

• Helping with tidying and linen changes in the residence

• Support as a social programme leader, if required. 

• Help out with social evenings and student events in the school.

• Support reception at busy times, if needed.

• Prepare welcome pack for all new students.

A good level of English (C1), an interest in learning languages, and some familiarity with Google docs and drive would be preferential. 

This is a full-time position and you will be required to work weekdays and weekends.  As we are looking for someone to start right away, only candidates with the right to work in Europe will be considered as we cannot help with visa applications due to the limited time. The ideal candidate would already be living in Malta.
