Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for a resourceful, innovative marketing and, or communications student to gain practical experience with this leading distributor of office furniture throughout Ireland and the UK. Mentored throughout, you will assist in promotion and communication of the company’s office furniture services and products to the target audiences ranging from single clients to corporate giants. If you are a hungry self-starter, then this will be a truly rewarding internship

Tasks
Optimisation of online content representing products in line with relevant procedures, processes and policies
Identify and engage with target audiences on social media
Create content for website, social media and online retailers
Produce interactive marketing material to support the development of social media
Develop marketing material for external use
Develop internal promotional material and brochures

Personal Skills
Marketing and communications degree or similar
Ability to work autonomously
Innovative thinker
Good all-round IT skills
Previous experience of social media management
Great organisational and communication skills.

Host Company
The host is a family owned business and is one of the UK and Ireland's leading suppliers of office furniture and is expanding and rebranding. Based in Belfast in a magnificent 17th century linen mill, and a brand-new showroom, they stock thousands of office and home office products from leading manufacturers including Bisley, Jahnke, Alphason, Eliza Tinsley and Verco. As well as supply, they offer a free office planning service and personal attention to everyone who gets in touch. Past projects include replicating a U.S company’s Atlanta based office to offices in Brighton and Dublin office, a “new look” socially interactive staff canteen and a funky radio station studio.

Excellent spoken and written English levels are required (B2 onwards)

ESPA has many interns working in placements in Belfast, so there is the opportunity for a great social scene too.
