Changemaker in Slums (CIS), founded in 2016, is a social venture empowering schools with our market-based innovative solutions. By business engagement, capacity training, and micro-capital, we are assisting schools to run revenue-generating projects within the area of agriculture, energy, and leadership development. We are actively engaging local communities to align with Sustainable Development Goals, especially SDG7 and SDG12.
CIS is supported by investors, grantors, advisers, and organizations in China, Sweden, Denmark, and Kenya.
As we are expecting to increase operational scale and school partners, our Marketing Internship Programme is now open for applications. This three-month programme gives you exposure across our diverse business. You will receive training, networking opportunities, be supported by a mentor and have the chance to contribute meaningfully to our business. We are looking for young talents who are passionate about content creation and digital marketing. You will assist the team with the following tasks:
- Drive growth and exposure of our venture by setting up of social media marketing channels
- Develop integrated marketing strategies with our Facebook, website and LinkedIn channels, based on researched target groups
- Create marketing campaigns for our projects (travel to Kenya / Sweden might be required)
- Produce marketing videos and brochures for potential sponsors / partners
- Leading one of our projects from start to end
- Represent CIS at workshops and funding events
- Outreach to potential collaborators
- Create impact blog posts
You will have the choice to choose your working hours, while we work hand-in-hand with you under an agile framework.
Eligibility:
- Must have previous marketing experience, either online or offline
- Must be comfortable with content creation
