Description:

Please note: This internship positing is for an immediate remote start. Please make it clear in your application email that you are able to start immediately on a remote basis. If you are seeking an internship for 2023, please apply next year.

Your Mission

Are you:

  • looking for an internship where you can apply your marketing skills to develop an initiative designed to help mitigate the effects of climate change and reduce humanity’s carbon output

  • interested in working with an international team of like-minded, future-focussed communicators, marketers and scientists

  • Keen on improving your remote-work experience working while jointly preparing a service designed to support the renewable energy sector across Germany and the EU from 2023 onwards

  • Up for building something that you can be proud of now and in the future?

Then get in touch.

Why?

Because we are building a new training and recruitment program to support the transition to a cleaner, cooler Earth. For that to happen, we need an environmentally committed marketer who understands the urgency to act now.

Why you now.

Ultimately, we will take on the person who has the desire and ability to actively support the green energy transition for the benefit of future generations. If that is you, and you can also bring a skillset that involves working with social media, online partner research and outreach, good written English and a strong eye for design, you will find yourself a part of an international team all working towards addressing one of the most pressing issues facing us today.

Where you are based.

This is a remote (digital) opportunity, so no more than 3 hours either side of Berlin (Central European Time). Note that this is a remote only position, meaning you can work from anywhere.

When.

You can start now. The hours are up to you.

What you’ll learn.

You will gain remote working experience in a multinational team where English is the main language. You will also see what it takes to create a successful business with the input of others while developing your own professional autonomy and work ethic. This is a key skill that will be required in the increasingly common world of remote work. You will also learn how to work ‘bottom up’, meaning you will be expected to make suggestions, present alternatives and define a clear work pattern that will support the whole team and initiative. Lastly, you will also form a deeper understanding of the energy market, how it works, and how it impacts the nexus of food, water and the biosphere.

Commitment

You nominate the hours you want to work and how much you can do within the deadlines you also predefine. Meeting times are set by Operations in Berlin. This is a three month tenure with the possibility of extension.
