Description: 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as Teaching Assistant

  • Serve as Substitute Teacher

  • Serve as After-School Homework Club Supervisor

  • Serve as Dorm Parent (dorm duty, study hall, weekend activities, breakfast and dinner duties, etc.)

  • Co-advise a MS Advisor group

  • Co-lead a Service Learning Group

  • Co-lead After-School Activities (two out of three seasons)

Employment Requirements

  • Swiss or EU citizenship

  • University degree

  • Less than one year removed from education certification/degree program or similar

  • Work experience with children/teenagers preferred

  • English proficiency 

Duration of Internship

  • August 2023 - June 2024

Compensation Package

  • 10-month contract

  • Gross compensation: CHF 15'525

  • The School also provides medical coverage, housing, laundry, and food benefits (through our dinning hall). The intern will pay social security and tax on these benefits.

  • The school will reimburse up to CHF 1,500 for travel and moving expenses upon arrival and upon presentation of valid receipt.
