Who we are:

We are a young, international team that lives and breathes the start-up atmosphere in Cologne / Germany. We are developing an online shop for selling construction materials. We operate with flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths in order to encourage a culture of trust, empowerment and constructive feedback. We strive for a positive and inspiring work atmosphere where we can all learn and grow from one another; both personally and professionally. But not everything is work! You can also look forward to exciting digital and in-person events.

What you can expect from this position:

You want to know how marketing works in a startup and you are looking for an exciting job? We are looking for an Online Marketing Intern (m/f/d) for meinbaustoffmarkt.de. With us, you will have the opportunity to independently take on diverse topics and support the development of our company together with a highly motivated team.

• Web design consultancy. 
• To update website internal tools.
• To collaborate with marketing and management departments when updating website content.
• To improve websites presence.
• SEO Optimization.
• The working language is English (Turkish and German are also available).
• The start date and duration of the internship can be adapted to the students needs. 
• You can also perform a remote internship. The worktime is very flexible.

What we are looking for:

• You have an academic background in Marketing, Information Technologies or Civil Engineering or a comparable course of study and have ideally already gained some practical experience through internships or a working student position.
• You are enthusiastic about online marketing and construction materials.
• Strong communication skills, a good understanding of text and expressiveness are among your strengths.
• You work in a structured and solution-oriented way and you are a reliable, open-minded personality with a hands-on mentality.
• In addition, you bring good analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and on your own responsibility.
