Description: 

We are seeking a motivated and passionate intern to contribute to our mission of supporting non-profit organisations and social businesses in an international context. This internship opportunity includes working with National Olympians Associations (NOAs) globally, with a focus in Asia. The intern will have the unique chance to learn about the non-profit sector, social entrepreneurship, and the intersection of sports and social impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Support NOAs: Assist in providing support to National Olympians Associations, to understand their needs and identify areas to offer assistance.
  • Project Assistance: Collaborate with the team on various projects aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and impact of NOAs. Help develop strategies, create action plans, and contribute to the implementation of initiatives.
  • Partnership Development: Assist in identifying potential partnerships and collaborations for NOAs. Help establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, including other non-profit organisations, sponsors, and sports governing bodies.
  • Capacity Building: Contribute to the development and delivery of training materials and resources to strengthen the capabilities of NOAs and their members. Help design and organize workshops, webinars, and other educational activities.
  • Communication and Outreach: Support the creation of content for communication channels, such as websites, social media platforms, and newsletters. Help disseminate information about the work of NOAs and social businesses to a wider audience.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance, including organising meetings, taking minutes, managing documentation, and maintaining databases related to NOAs.

Qualifications:

  • Enthusiasm for social impact, non-profit organizations, and the sports industry.
  • Strong interest in international development and working in diverse cultural contexts, with a focus in Asia.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of sports governance, Olympism, and the Olympic Movement is a plus.
  • Fluency in English (additional Asian language skills are desirable)
  • Able to work remotely
