Chiropody.co.uk is part of the Tx Group, a privately owned network which provides health and education therapy services in the North West of England.  


Chriopody.co.uk is a leading provider of private podiatry/ chiropody care, treating a wide range of complaints related to the foot and lower limb.  We offer immediate access to our services and work as part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals to ensure the best possible care is delivered to all our patients in a comfortable and welcoming setting.


The podiatrist intern will join our team by helping in day to day duties, such as: assessing and treating patients with a variety of skin and nail problems, assisting with nail surgery and maintaining appropriate levels of stock within the clinic. Ensuring all equipment used has been sterilized, maintaining own diary and completing patient records are essential tasks of the role. We are looking for someone to assist with activities to promote the clinic, such as blogs, social media and website content and to be involved in researching new podiatry techniques and treatments.


This position is perfect for anybody who is interested in foot health practitioner.

What does it take to be successful in this role?

To be successful within this role you would need to:

  • Provide safe and effective treatments 

  • Develop positive relationships with colleagues and patients

  • Be out to complete comprehensive assessments of a range of skin and nail problems

  • Assist in the development of the podiatry service


The Ideal Candidate:

The successful applicant must meet the following requirements:

  • Podiatry experience within a university setting as a minimum

  • Be studying towards or recently gained a podiatry qualification 

  • Have professional liability insurance

  • Have a high level of English level, both written and verbal


Our ideal candidate will have good assessment skills of the lower limb and great clinical reasoning skills. Good communication and organisational and prioritisation skills are also fundamental to this role. 


The person chosen will be empathetic and a  people person. Someone amenable, passionate about podiatry and client-centred will be the ideal candidate for this internship.
