PRODUCT DESIGNER (m/f)

Product designers are the clever people who design everything we use in our lives. This vacancy means that you will use your creativity, eye for detail and technical knowledge to design new and innovative products.

To work in product design, you need to understand the relationship between art, science and technology. As a product designer, you will spend your time planning, designing and modelling products.

 

MAIN TASKS

            Helping develop research materials (DESIGN MINDS) for the concept and development of the project

            Providing the development of design and re-design products for different brand collections

            Participating in the development and discussions of new products, as well as in the realization of the final product

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

            Languages

                 English : at least B2 (preferential factor)

            Personal skills

                 3D STUDIOMAX skills

                 Communication skills

                 Teamwork

                 International and multicultural vision

                 Bachelor’s degree in the Design field

                 Creativity and out-of-the-box ideas

                 Good knowledge of SOLIDWORKS, Keyshot, V-Ray, Photoshop and Illustrator

 

QUALIFICATIONS

No experience required

Preferably students from Design, Product Design or other related specializations.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

Full time internship (40 hours/week – 8 hours/day)

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Location : Rio Tinto, Porto (Portugal)

The company does not offer any financial compensation, but the students interested in performing internships in our brands and departments have the possibility to get hired after the end of the internship period.
