Project and Event Management Internship at International Sport and Culture Association (ISCA) in Copenhagen, Denmark (Erasmus+ Programme

International Sport and Culture Association is looking for 1 Erasmus intern to join the team in the Copenhagen office for a period of 12 months starting 15 October 2021.

The International Sport and Culture Association (ISCA) is a global platform open to organisations working within the field of recreational sports and physical activity. Founded in 1995, ISCA is today a global actor closely cooperating with its 260 member organisations, international NGOs, and public and private sector stakeholders. ISCA offers an international working environment with 20 staff members from 14 different countries of the world.

Do you want to live abroad, work in an international environment, and gain experience in the field of international physical activity and grassroots sports promotion? If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you! We are looking for self-motivated, passionate and energetic interns to join our team in Copenhagen.
You will be part of the ISCA team coordinating projects and activities in externally funded projects in cooperation with member organisations and other partners, both on the national and international level. Many of the projects fall under topics that have pressing priority in today’s world, such as exercise and health, physical activity and education, health-enhancing physical activity, sport and exercise for disadvantaged groups, urban sports facilities, inclusion of refugees through sport, youth training, and active ageing.

You will be able to get involved and challenge yourself in various projects such as:

• Integration of Refugees through Sport
• MOVE Congress (17-19.11.2021)
• Physical Literacy For Life
• EuropeanMile
• and many other existing or upcoming projects that ISCA is either leading or partnering with (such as Change Project, Towards an EU Sport Diplomacy etc…).

  Additionally, you will be a part of the pan-European NowWeMOVE campaign organised by ISCA and its partners. Your main task will be to support and implement project activities in connection with member organisations all over Europe. ISCA is also the National Coordinating Body for the European Week of Sport in Denmark, which takes place from 23-30 September each year.
