As an intern as a Project Manager/ Coordinador at Startup Greece, you are responsible for the successful implementation of our projects and initiatives. This may include to discuss the fundamental ideas of a project (i.e. strengths weaknesses, practicability and usability), to monitor the comprehensive organization of each project, to analyze and evaluate the implementation of products and their impact, to produce database reports, to provide reviews and comments on other project reports, to analyze information, to determine variable solutions and to make recommendations. Additionally, you will manage parts of project efforts.

 

Our Project Manager interns are playing a key role and an individual contributor on our projects and initiatives. We encourage you as an intern to have self-responsibility in all your tasks. You will evaluate the performance of processes, create new systems and procedures and you will work closely with our team. Innovative ideas located outside the box, applied creativity, and an inquisitive mindset are very desirable.

 

From our candidates we expect to have strong analytical skills, effective communication, good writing and organizational skills, critical acumen, proficient in problem solving, good knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Wordpress.

 

An advantage would be academic knowledge of project management, business, economics, or in a relevant field.

 

The Startup Greece offers you as an intern self-responsibility within all tasks, own decision-making, working in a young international team, a flexible timetable, participation on our events and NGO meetings, feedback on a regular basis, experience and knowledge sharing and training on different subjects and programs.

We encourage, support, unite and connect entrepreneurs, scientists, students, the unemployed and social ventures. Startup Greece group seeks to expand to as many local communities as possible using multiple activities which aim to transfer knowledge, opportunities, and experiences such as competitions, educational trips, thematic workshops, educational games, lectures of scientific and business training.

Startup Greece enables young interns coming from abroad to share their experience, enhancing cross-border networking and cooperation. We are profiting from teamwork abilities, networking with institutions and businesses, volunteering and experience in various fields of entrepreneurship (i.e. financial & business planning, marketing, fundraising).

Additional Information

The minimum time period of an internship is three months. Usually, our interns stay between three to six months. Interns should be currently enrolled at a University (bachelor or master), or have finished their degree within the last year. Interns must bring their own laptops. The Internship is UNPAID.
