We are currently looking for a passionate, talented, and knowledgeable individual with proven experience in Public Relations to join a collaborative and innovative team to building and maintaining a positive image for our company.

You will assist in executing our corporate public relations programs to increase awareness and establish NDB as a thought leader in the battery industry within our growing international markets.

You will be focused on finding and verifying the day’s most important content including generation of stories and pitches. Your contribution will directly impact the image of our organization to external parties and promote us.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and delivering a focused and results-oriented PR strategy to build awareness for NDB in our fast-growing international markets.
  • Writing original news articles for the website and social media for daily basis, interviewing, attending events.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with consumer, community, employee, and interest groups.
  • Responding to requests for information and press conferences.
  • Devising feature and news ideas.
  • Populating web sites and social media with content.
  • Driving corporate and local announcements, awards, speaking engagements, contributed article placements.
  • Work cross-functionally to determine local priorities and align PR initiatives to drive awareness.
  • Conducting PR events and manage media relations.
  • Help manage and execute all fundamental elements of a PR program including corporate, thought leadership, product and partner news.
  • Pitch media on relevant company news and relevant storylines.
  • Generate key communications vehicles including press releases, media plans and reporting, blog and editorial contributions, and more.
  • Managing and updating information and engaging with users on social media sites such as Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • Track media coverage and follow industry trends.
  • Sub-editing peer work and assisting in proof reading.

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hunger to learn and grow in your career.
  • Relationships with business and tech, as well as a passion for storytelling.
  • Entrepreneurial drive to aggressively source stories and drive media results.
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, process management and cross-functional influencing skills.
  • Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple assignments from conception to completion and meet deadline commitments.
  • Ability to balance quick turnaround with longer-term strategic efforts.
  • Deep understanding of consumer marketing. Previous experience in handling a company’s public relations is a must.
  • An ability to work on big strategy plans as well as day-to-day tasks
  • Ability to think both creatively and strategically.
  • Deadline-oriented, inquisitive, with great follow-up and reporting skills.
  • Responding well under pressure with a strict time limit.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • A team player but can work independently too.
  • While entry is open to non-graduates, preference is given to those with relevant degrees.
