Remote Translation Volunteer

OCN is looking for a translation volunteer to support us on an adhoc basis with translating documents and other content for use within the NGO. The priority is for translations between English and Spanish as these are the languages we currently work in. However, we are also looking for volunteers who are able to translate our web content into other languages such as French, German, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese. This will enable us to promote our volunteering opportunities to a wider audience. in this role, you will be supervised by the Assistant Manager for Marketing and Volunteers through emails and skype calls when necessary.  

Hours

10 h/ per week

Tasks

Occasional promo materials translations
Web translation (various languages. Nb. we already have the website text translated into German but may need updates translating)
Occasional general docs translations
Requirements

Fluent in English or Spanish plus one other language
Ability to work independently
Translation studies or experience preferred
