Remote Volunteer Community Manager

OCN is looking for a volunteer Community Manager who will be responsible for developing our social media and communications channels. You would be required to manage facebook and Instagram profiles as well as writing blogs and newsletters reflecting on the work of OCN. In this role you will be supervised by the Assistant Manager for Marketing and Volutneers or our Marketing Coordinator through skype meetings every other week and email contact.

Tasks

Managing our social media
Creating content for social media
Writing blogs
Interviewing current/former volunteers
Improving our reach and engagement with social media
Writing a newsletter with stories of recent achievments in OCN projects and new volunteering opportunities
Creating a database of images and video to be used on social media which will be provided by coordinators working in the field.
Requirements

Marketing background
Experience managing social media profiles for Organisations
Experience of using analytics to boost social media performance
Fluent in either English or Spanish (preferably both languages)
Ability to work independently
