Description: 

Dhisto is looking for Researcher in Communication Design (Graphic Design) that would like also to work in the development of practical projects. The research will be done inside the Reasearch Group at the faculty of architecture of the University of Lisbon (www.fa.ulisboa.pt). This designer/researcher will support the research being done by the researchers of the group in Design History and historiography. There is a particular focus in  an ongoing research aimed for an exhibition in the last trimester of 2020.

We expect this designer to act also as a graphic designer, to develop the communication of the research group, enhancing it’s digital presence, website, social media, presentations (physical or digital).
We value independence and autonomy and a prepositive attitude, analyzing the problems, developing solutions.
Good writing skills in English are important as well as proficiency in speaking in English.

 

JOB RELATED SKILLS
Easy of Use in Adobe or Affinity software (In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator / Publisher, Photo, Designer)
Knowledge and interest for internet programming at a basic level (css editing, htm) to work with CMS platforms (Joomla or Wordpress)
Interest in learning or knowledge in CMS software  (Joomla or Wordpress)
Interest in working in a academic environment and in conducting research in design history
Knowledge and interest in Social media communication strategies and development of content for social media platforms
