As sales and marketing intern you will assist the Head of travel retail and Concept Stores coordinator and work closely with clients all over the world, the logistics manager and the brands. The goal is of course that you become fully independent one day.

YOUR TASKS

 

By supporting sales managers and coordinating sales-related activities within the company, you will contribute to achieving sales targets. Although you do not have direct responsibility for selling (at the beginning), you play an important part in supporting the sales team with daily B2B customer service, market analysis, sales reports, and concept stores management. You require excellent organizational, administrative and communication skills, together with an ability to deliver high standards of customer service.

  • Sales & Marketing Support: To help sales managers improve their productivity and spend more time selling, as a sales coordinator, you provide a variety of support services. You analyse the markets, you contact customers and prospects to arrange appointments or to make follow-up calls to confirm problematic/late deliveries. You will also ensure that the sales reps have sufficient quantities of sales support material, such as product brochures or case studies. You will also act as a first point of contact for urgent calls, emails, and messages when sales representatives are not available.
  • Coordination: Collaboration with other departments is an important responsibility for you: marketing, logistics and finance. Especially, coordination tasks for the good management of existing concept stores in France ( Lyon).
  • Reporting: You maintain sales records, as a basis for reports to the senior management team. You will be brought to prepare reports on sales by individual representatives, sales by product line and sales to individual customers.
  • Forecasting: You prepare forecasts based on the sales data of each customer. Your forecasts will then be approved and adjusted by the sales team based on the products that they would like to push.
  • Process Improvement: After several months of working at Blue Storks, you will have to be able to suggest new processes and to build them if needed.

EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge about international export & trade
  • Knowledge about retail
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a related field
  • Strong with numbers, data, excel
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Highly organized, structured and precise !
  • Ability to multi-task, to define priorities in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines
  • Likes to offer a great service to customers
  • Fluent at least in English and ideally in French(writing & speaking)
  • Dutch and/or German and/or Spanish or any other language such as Chinese is a plus
  • Live in the beautiful city of Brussels or willing to move in Brussels
  • Team player
