Full time or min 3 days/week (we’re open to Internships for this role)

Start Date: ASAP

Location – Brussels

Have you recently finished your Business Studies and you’ve not quite decided which road you want to take yet?

A job in Sales looks very tempting but Marketing intrigues you; well I’ve some great news for you, a Sales Development Representative role will give you a flavour of both.

With us, you get the chance to not only bridge the gap between Sales and Marketing, you’ll also get to work on 2 of our key products;  Declaree and MXP.

You’ll report directly into our CMO (we like to keep things flat) and you’ll be mentored and trained by great people who will support and guide you in your Mobilexpense journey.

We use Hubspot at Mobilexpense, a must have bit of Tech for start-ups and scale-ups wanting to harness its power. Getting intimate with its capabilities will be great for your career journey in SaaS.

But what about growth? Well, once you’ve been with us for a year or so, we want to see you step up; that could be to an Account Exec role, a Digital Marketing role or maybe a Presales role….we don’t put limitations on you, we want to see you fly.

High Level

You’ll follow-up and pre-qualify the leads that come through from online marketing and other efforts through multi-channel outreach (calls, emails and social).

You will conduct meaningful conversations regarding the challenges faced in travel and expense management, communicating on Mobilepense’s and Declaree’s capabilities, warming-up of qualified leads until they are ready to engage with one of the sales tea or they request a demo.

While this is happening, you’re already prepping the sales team: you find as much context on a prospect as possible. This means doing a bit of detective work; website and preferred social channels to uncover information about their role, company size, buyer persona and other criteria to determine if they're qualified for further outreach.

Deep Dive:

You’ll be the first real contact our prospect hears from.

You get to bridge marketing and sales; you’re responsible for moving leads/prospects through the buyer's journey in order to become opportunities.

This means engaging with prospects through calls, emails and social channels in a personalised way.

You only pass the most qualified leads to sales, so resources aren't wasted on dead-end leads.

At the same time, you seek out the right individual within a company for whom a sales conversation would be most relevant.

While you are in contact with the prospects you want to keep them engaged by using existing marketing materials to stimulate interest. This involves sharing content and offering relevant and helpful suggestions. It's important to build trust and provide value before trying to initiate a sales call.

We mentioned Hubspot earlier, well, we need you to document your activities and your findings in Hubspot, it’s only good if the right data is in there, that goes for updating duplicate contacts and accurate contact information.

You’ll give feedback to your marketing colleagues on which leads (and channels) generate the best results in terms of qualified leads.

Occasionally you’ll work on specific outbound campaigns whereby you contact potential clients through cold-calling against specific target lists

About You

You’ll maybe have had 1 sales role previously or you’re fresh out of University.

You have a native level of German and speak fluent English.

You’re energetic, creative, an out of the box thinker, inquisitive, you ask why and you're a go-getter.

A big plus would be if you can put together some good blog posts and create some compelling copy for our email campaigns.

You’re not afraid of objections and understand our Clients pain points.
